Hey Lads,
I'm running an 03 SX Viper, stock motor, Turks 53/ 43 Helix ( Dalton ) Green Secondary, 4.5 g rivits, Boyesen Power Reeds... Sled works great, I have my skid out for some maintenance and noticed my limiter straps are pretty much as Long as possible..... I'm guessing that can't be right. Is there a popular setup on the Limiter straps that will give a good combo of handling & transfer ? Hard to do any testing this year with the lack of snow....
Cheers boys, Have Fun

That's how I run all mine. 0 preload in center shocks and about 10mm of bolt on limiters

Hi there Super1 - Thanx for You input, I would say I have about 10 mm of thread showing above the nut, considering your advice I will likely leave it at that setting!
Thanx a lot for the reply,

Here's a thing...when I say zero preload what I do is take the weight off the suspension and loosen Shock springs to just snug. If you do it with all the weight on the sled the springs will come right loose as soon as you are slightly airborne or basically on the other side of the travel. Then they will rub on the shocks and bind up. The monkey who owned this sled before me must have done it this way judging by the rub marks on the shock bodies.
