Could it be done? Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Even remotely possible?

Yep, just need to keep your distances the same as they are in the Vector. Measure from the center of the drive axle back to the front mount hole in the Vector tunnel and then from the top of the tunnel down, then measure the distance between the front and rear bolt holes and the distance down from the tunnel at the rear bolt hole location.

Okay, so these measurements will verify if the tunnel clearance for the track/mounting points will be the same correct? Can the mounting points be altered if necessary such as using drop down brackets?
What about the width of the mounting points for the skid? They should be the same right?
Seems like this could be an interesting project. Of course a Mono R/A would be even more interesting. Wonder how quick A wadded RX1 or Vector with a good skid could be found?

A 03 RX-1 skid is the exact same as what is in your Viper right now.
As for the Vector skid, yes you could use drop brackets and yes the tunnel width, etc is all the same. Just have to keep all the stock mounting points in the Vector the same when you install it on your Viper!
