Finally wrapping up the 700SX rebuild, Fresh bottom end (used crank, new seals, pushed oil through the oil lines filled the gear room, new rings on stock OEM pistons, etc....

Wrapping up lines aligning the motor and hopefully firing up tonight for the first time.

We are going up this weekend and I of course would love to ride the 700 (haven't even rode it on the trails yet). The problem is the forecast is calling for -10*F which will make it run leaner and i am planning to running some oil in the gas probably 100:1 just to give it a little extra in the event of any air bubbles showing in the lines (pump was bled and we used a syringe to push oil into the line from the oil pump to the gear room feed which pushed out an air bubble to the PTO side crank bearing feed).

Should i worry about the colder temps, the sled is running stock mains so I believe she should be a little fat which should come out good in the colder temps.

running premix will actually lean it out. 100:1 won't be bad. I would drain the tank. run a little bit of premix for a couple heat cycles then top off the tank with pure gas and run it.

Extreme cold weather kept a lot of dealers in business...easy to melt one down if you aren't careful. Check your plugs after a couple miles, make sure its getting enough fuel. You spent a lot of time to get where you are, make sure its safe.
