Hey guys' I don't know if any of you have seen this on your sleds but on my sled the running boards where you sole of the boot sits and also where the trailing arm bolt attaches the running board is bent upward from that bolt! Now at one time I straightened the running board but its happened again, this is not a ditch banging sled that I take jumps with she's my trail rider. Is there like to much force that's pushing up?
Pic's ???
Is the trailing arm bolt straight ? Or are you saying the tunnel is bending ?
Mine has never bent, or looked off, well except for one time when a tree jumped inside my ski and we'll, that'll bend stuff...... But if your asking if there is a weak link somewhere, I don't know of any.

My 97 is bent like that but it was like that when I bought it. So I don't know what caused it but the guy I got it from really beat the sled.

Well if I knew enough to not get frustrated with pics I'd post them(maybe the kids will help),but no I don't think the bolt is bent. As for the tunnel no it's not bending it's the floor board where the rivets hold the plate underneath where the trailing arm attaches to,its kinked upward a bit.Must be the weak link in a trailing arm Yamaha.

Hitting anything significant with the ski or radius rods can bend it there. Most of my sleds have bends there from off-trail riding. The last one was from simply bouncing up over a stump (this year), which we have to do all of the time in Michigan if you ride off-trail. Low snow years are worse.
