On my SX i have changed my skis over to the Yamaha saddless skis. I have brand new woody's 6" carbides. I have only about 160 miles on the skis and carbides, mayby 30 miles on bare ice, and almost the rest on smow covered lake with 5 or 10 miles on marginal snow trails. On my runners the from inch section and rear inch section on both skis are worn off. the middle 4" section looks untouched almost like the skis were bowed, but they appear to sitting flat when the sled is stationary. Anyone else had this problem or any ideas what is goign on?

Check the tech section about making a spacer to make your skis ride level. I think it is under a solution to darting.

Hit any rocks or what not?? could have broken off, carbide in general is pretty brittle compared to steel. I'm not familiar with the saddleless skis but any excessive flexing of the host bar near the inserts could cause them to crack. Somehow I don't think thats it though cause then everyone would be having problems.

Yes i have hit a few rocksbut not hard enough to do nethingor really enough. I think i just have to put a spacer on my rubber on my ski's to change the angle of attack of the ski. Thats what I had found in the tech pages ne way, it's drizzling now ne way so i dont think i'll get nemore riding in this year ne way, as messed up as our weather has been lately.
