I would like to know how many of you guys out there have converted your stock secondary on your vintage SRX to something else? I would like to know the pros and cons from doing so and what type of labor is involved ? I plan on racing snow ovals out here in the West and just want to know if there is an advantage of converting or just keep with the stock secondary.

other than stock i have ran a polaris and cat secondary with polaris P-85 primary other than that i run the stock clutches the stock secondary works very well. so well that we are going back to stock clutches on my drivers 78 srx over the p-85 /cat secondary set up

Did you have to have a new drive shaft cut for the Cat secondary ? And what Cat secondary were you running? Thanks

yes i got a shaft from micro belmont ....i was running a button cat and i run a button polaris
