just took the suitcase out of my sled and put in the mbrp race can. easy install but everything seems a bit loose. the hole in belly of the sled is biggerthan the donut on the pipe which is causing an issue and the spring off the side of chaincase fits on the pipe loose. just wondering if anyone had similar issues?
anyone know what i can use to fill that hole?

Your springs might be all stretched out. You may need new ones or shorter ones.

I had a similar fitment problem w/ a Bender can on redhead. I cut a piece of aluminum and shaped it to to belly and riveted it on. Then used a hole saw & cut an appropriate sized hole approximately a 1/2 inch away from the original hole in the plastic belly.

will try riveting the hole with some metal and cutting a new hole. Seems the new can also has a spot for an additional exhaust spring so will by another spring to attach from the muffler to the mount (has a hole already) where the other muffler sat on. Just concerned since it is pulling down it may put more pressure on the belly modification I make.

Not sure about the viper but on the sx sleds there is a place to bolt the can to the bulkhead too. I have a race can on my mtn max and it is LOUD that sled stays far away from civilization.

Actually I seem to remember that the metal I used was a piece of 8" round hvac ducting. Very malleable.
