just read and follow the directions .....did you have a high low or just on off for your original ones if you have a on/off you will need to wire in a 3 way switch with resistor or just hook up the high setting of the grip

I have the high and low switch that came with the RSI grip warmers. I wish they would of have out a resistor in there to. What size ohm resistor do you think I need?thanks

Can't RSI high power grip heaters are three wire and doesn't work the right way on a two wire OEM system for a 90 srv

Its been a while since I've wired in 3 wire grips, but I believe one wire is a ground, one is low and one is high. When wired in, one wire is always hot. (low) and when ground, wire 1 and wire 2 are hot, this would be high. It will work on your SRV. REALLY look closely at the directions.

The direction are crap. White is high, blue low, red ground. It's said when hooking up to a two wire oem system tie red/ blue RSI wires together to form one wire making it a two wire set up. I connected blue/ red together on left grip and did same on the right side . Join them together put on the low terminal ( low is hot) three wAy switch. White wires to ground , power with fuse to off terminal . No go. Takes for ever to heat up and doesn't reach good heat limit. Tried lighting power source, stator coil has a hand warmer yellow/ black wire but it's not regulated hear to get a xlv srv lighting coil because it's gives you more voltage? . I give up . At start up only got 8.8 volts with warmers on . Should be 12. Tried for about 3 months on these warmers.

You need to measure the resistance of your stock grips and look how they were wired (parallel or series). The RSI will need to match.
I wired mine in parallel with the red/blue tied together and the white as ground, this is the hottest way to wire them.
If you are using the 3 position switch, the white will go to ground, blue to low, then blue and red together on hi.

ok if the kit comes with a 3 way switch you will have one power in then 2 power out run your yellow black wire from the sled to the in of the switch then run the wires for high and low out to you blue and red and ground both white wires

Can some one draw me a diagram please. I thought the power from the sled goes to the middle terminal by hooking the red and blue together from both sides to the low terminal which is high and white is ground . I have one empty terminal . The high one or should I put red/ blue on high and other red/ blue on low with resistor. Sorry that I am slow at this and the sled didn't come with warmers. That's

What I can't understand is when they say hook up the red/blue to make it a one wire system. So I twist them together do the same thing to the other side join them together with one one wire then run it to the low terminal ( is high) then use white for ground then I have one empty terminal on high
