Will the ohlins from a viper fit an SXR? Or would the shorter ohlins from an SRX work if you made some lift brackets?

If you' re talking about the ones from a Viper S, yes they'll fit but you'll need to remove the plastic adjuster knob off the reservoir . It's a little tight against the belly pan and if you don't you'll break the knob as the shock cycles through its travel. Happened with mine . Keep mine in my suit for adjustments but once you find right setting ,you don't mess with it much so not a big deal. They work great otherwise.

That's good to know, thanks. The viper ohlins are kinda hard to find, especially at a reasonable price that's why I was also thinking about the ohlins from an srx.

I used them on my Superventure, I bolted them on the top and swung them up, kept marking the plastic and cutting a hole for them to swing into. Then just covered the hole inside with metal tape to keep the snow out.
