Well, I read some time ago on here or somewhere else that Yamaha was coming out with an engine based on the YZF 450. I heard through a dealer yesterday that a new machine will possibly be an 800 twin with the same pistons and cylinders as the 450. Basically two engines moulded into one. I guess we will see for sure on Monday....

Sweet, a 95hp twin. Im sure everybody would rather have that than a 150hp 4 cyl.

Give me the 4 any day, and I'd think most over 200lbs would agree. my riding gear probably weighs close to the engine weight difference. the only time when I notice the weight of my srx is when I have to lift it.
I do think they should have come up with a 800 twin before the vector though.

There is definately a ditch that is going to be released I'm looking at a picture of it as I speak! Looks like about 12 inches of travel up front, very sweet, might need to get me one!!! Don't know the specs yet though

Whoever planned this "leak" deserves a raise. Yamaha's marketing department has got people on just about every snowmobile discussion forum talking!
So, if anyone out there works for Yamaha, or even has a contact with Yamaha, tell them that Hebi says, "yoroshiku"! (that means "thank you for your work" for those of you who dont speak Nihon)
