Hey guys
im wondering if anyone else had problems removing the clutch a on viper engine. I have a clutch puller and I used an electric impact on it but it won't pop. Any ideas? I may have to bring the sled by work to see if the air impact will take it off. I'm up for suggestions . I haven't seen a hard one yet. I popped the clutch off of my vector last month with no issues.
thanks

You don't want to use an impact on it, you could damage something. Remove the clutch bolt, fill the hole with grease, thread in your puller and tighten it, it will pop right off.

I also needed to use Teflon on my threads for the above method to work.

I'm curious. Why no impact? I always use impact with grease and have never had an issue.

i have used a impact for years, no issues, try grease like stated above, that works great. 3:16x (yammie tony)

If all else fails try the hydraulic method using boiling hot water and wrap the puller in Teflon tape.

X2 air impact. Cordless or electric may not have enough balls. Done it this way a bazillion times
