I was wondering if there is any other track setups that i could bolt on to my 99 vmax 600 triple, my sled currently needs a new track and was considering a longer track with bigger lug seen as I like off trail and I go with my dad on trail. The track that is on it right now is a 121x15 with a .75 lug and I have no problem sinking it quickly, I have recently drove a 2010 nytro with a 144 and 1.75 lug and absolutly loved it off trail and it was amazing on trail any suggestions?

My 700 Venture has the 136" Cobra ( 1.35 lugs) and it is awsome on or off trails. I've accumulated 2100km of full on back country riding with this track and have no regrets! Last year I had the stock .75 lug track with studs and It sucked. The difference is amazing!

on my 97 vmax I went from a stock 121" 3/4 lug track to a 1" camoplast touring track, that was a night and day difference.

So would the suspension off urs bolt to my sled? If so I will buy complete suspension and put little tunnel extension.

Yes, you can replace your skid with a Venture's skid. Some use skids from other makes and models as well. I know other skids required different bolt patterns in the tunnel. Not sure if the Venture is direct bolt up. I'm sure someone can fill you in better then I. Another interesting option are rail extensions if you want to utilise what you already have.

Hope these pics helps you visualize your project.

DO you know if you can shoe in a 1.25" in a 97 700 without hitting the heat exchangers? Or is the 1" the tallest lug?

An SX chassis sled will clear up to a 2" track with 8 tooth drivers and no heat exchanger protectors (mountain sleds) a 1.25 may be possible on the stock 9 tooth drivers if you have heat exchanger protectors installed and remove them. That being said if you take them off your going to not want to run studs. The final drive difference from 9 to 8 tooth is 12% which you could make up with the chain case ratio if you intend to keep your original ratio. You can maintain your stock chain case ratio and the driver size reduction will take care of the over geared problem which is most commonly resolved by dropping 1 tooth on the upper gear in the chain case. The net result being the sled will fully shift out in the clutches and will most likely red line out vs max out on drag from being over geared.

With my 1.35" Cobra I still have 0.8" between the track lugs and the forward heat exchanger. ( 9 tooth drivers) . Many members have even run 1.5 paddles with the same drivers without issue. A 1.25" track is no problem.
