Went to the dealer today and they had the Maine Snowmobile Association annual newsletter and on the back page there was an advertisment for the 06 Apex ER with a picture. It had no specs or prices or anything, just said new yamaha Apex. It looks like a rx1 but a little more rounded. This picture can be seen on the rs/rx forum. The dealer told me that yamaha is going to release all sleds on the website Monday, except for one. On thursday Feb 10th, he has a dealer meeting in NY and they are supposed to unveil a special 50th aniversary sled for the dealers only, and it should make its way to the website soon after. I am thinking they are gonna have some special edition for the 50th anniversary. Maybe something like 1 per dealer. Maybe it'll have a turbo and some nice graphics, hopfully not just nice graphics. Either way i'm sure they'll still want a mint for it. We should know soon enough.

It's page 11 in the one i have. All i can say... grrrrrrrr. 150 horse fuel injected four stroke lighter with a "untouchable power to rate ratio" rider forward design... and on an on, sexy.
