Exhaust springs removal

As the subject says, I'm having trouble with the exhaust springs, I've tried everything besides growing another set of arms, that and spend 80 plus for a tool.
Wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks for a guy who has moderate strength and no willing helpers.... Everyone who said I'll help magically disappears it's strange how they do that and if they need help I'm there the longest and early also asks for nothing ahha
 

Use a string and hook up one end of the spring and lift it off. Easy.
 
I used a Dremel w/ their nice and thin cut-off blade. You could also use a regular cut-off for a right angle grinder.
One side is for pulling and the other side is for pushing.
