...always wanted to try that, ...just don't have the nerve. I've heard it's wise to tie a 30ft. rope and javex bottle to the sled as well.

haha ya could be a smart thing to do. i was hitting the water at like 100 and when i got to the other side i had only slowed down to 90.

Sean where are finding the open water? All the lakes and ponds here are still frozen over. I even think people are still driving trucks out on JR. Lake which is only bout and hour from Milo.

sebec river. comes off sebec lake i live on the river. its a place in the river where the current moves and never really freezes good. went out today and crossed it a couple times i should have got some better pics. the water hole is like 3 times longer.
