Hi all new to site and just purchased a 1999 Vmax 700 and the previous owner said that the tach works sporadically, anyone have an idea what I should check? Also the trip reset button is broke off can anyone pint me to where I may find directions on how to fix this. Also any info on what I should check/service on this sled would be greatly appreciated. Just type in ...... tach stopped .... In the TY search engine. Lots of good advice.

Thanks for the link and welcome. Going through the wiring harness new and replacing the battery.
