Got hit by some guy rounding a corner on my side of the trail.Ripped the left side suspension off my sled,im in the process of fixing it.

ouch man i know ALL about that. Two years ago i was riding down here in southeastern wisconsin with my cousin and we came up over a hill in a corn field and there was a kid on an exciter CRANKING over the hill on my side of the trail. We both dodged to the other side at the same time, and hit. I was on a XLT, my belly pan went up onto his hood, and when the front suspension caught it bucked the back of my sled up and threw me over the top of the whole accident. I landed about 25 feet away, woke up to a whole bunch of people yelling about calling an ambulance. Kid tried to say it was MY fault because of where the accident took place (his side of the trail) Luckily, there were several witnesses. Sleds were totalled, i had a meniscal tear in my knee. Was happy to be alive though.

That sucks,glad you didnt get hurt to badly.The thing that sucks is i didnt get collision this year because i never have been in a sled accident for the 20 years ive been riding,figures the first year i drop collision i get in one.Im at about 1150.00 in parts so far,figuring about 1500.00 by the time im done and thats doing all the work myself.Collision is going back on,to many morons out there.
If he hit you, his liability insurance should cover the damages, and your medical. (if he has any)

Question: Why are you paying 1,500.00 bucks for stuff that wasn't your fault? The other guy should be paying it!!!! I would have taken the other guys sled...as collateral...
