what wire is the tach wire on the srx 600

looking to see what wire my tach wire is everything works exept my tach does the wire change if so let me know thanks

owen i would have to check my manual to tell ya for sure, but i will add if you need another tach, the 00-01-02 tachs won,t work in the 98-99. 3:16x (yammie tony)

okay thanks for the info whats diffrent about the 2000s up just wondering

its in the hotter ignition. way to much voltage will over power the tach. also the wiring is different. see its a catch 22. the wiring is different mating a 00-01-02 tach on a 98-99, and the 98-99 tach will be overpowered on the 00-01-02. have to use correct years 3:16x (yammie tony)
