Anyone have 7 tooth drivers for a Phazer 2 or know where to get them? Any skid plates out there. Also have a motor that will only turn a quarter turn. The oil pump is leaking bad, could this stop the motor from turning if it froze up. I'll tear it down when I get time but was just wondering. Thanks

I dont have any drivers, but I can tell you your motor has to come apart.

Oil pump issues and it only turn 1/4ish of a turn. Remove the heads and take a gander. Rings for starters.
Pooched engine. 7t anti's from Wahl, Wps, or Parts Unlimited.
I tore it down and rust everywhere. Oil pored out of the exhaust. I think the thing got flooded. Carbs full of rust. Are the 80's motors the same? I would like to find a water cooled one to put in there. Thanks for responding.

What year Phazer do you have?? As far as I know the motors are the same from 84-99 with the exception of the ignition. I believe that changed in 93. If you want a liquid cooled Yamaha that looks like a Phazer, find yourself and Exciter. Way to much mess'n around to swap in a liquid into a Phazer.
