I bought some bender 835 pipes for my 2000 srx and I can't seem to get the pipe lined up with the exhaust flange. It's about an inch away from fitting. It's hitting on the pto side motor mount bulkhead area. Looking for opinions before I start grinding the mount down. This picture show the pipe and gap, the silencer end is in the silencer. I've tried sliding it in the manifold first too,Thanks

I would unbolt the flange, throw it on the pipe, then manuver it into place. Chances are it may clear vs. having the flange bolted on the motor first.

i have seen alot of srx,s with those pipes. you must do some fabrication to that motor mount to get them on. do not alter anything on that pipe. 3:16x (yammie tony)

I got it to fit. I loosened up the motor mounts and then I started the pipe in a twelve o'clock position and spun it into the manifold. Now I'm just trying to fit the center pipe into the silencer. What a pain

Fun isn't it! Be sure to check your fitment around the plastic belly pan and hood...!
