Pulled the cylinders off the viper to check things over before the season. Trying to find out what pistons I have so I can order rings. These pistons have a whole on the intake side right in the center of the piston, perpendicular to the wrist pin.
If aftermarket, do I just order oem rings ?

Can you post a pic of the top and under side of the piston?

Oem's will have the model part number on the underside of the piston like 8EK or 8DN. Aftermarkets will have numbers engraved on the top and nothing under. Its which manufacturer should yours be the engraved type. There is a difference on the engraving between say wiseco and spi.
