I know that the 02 srx wiring harness will let a viper cdi plug in but can I use an 04 viper harness with a 02 srx cdi? I'm converting a 2000 srx to dcs and so far I have the 02 cdi but am curious if I can use a 02 srx harness or an 04 viper harness.

Something tells me the 2000 stator plug is different than the 2002. I converted a 98 electrical system to a 2001, but I changed everything including the complete harness, CDI, stator, lighting coil, voltage regulator. Even the tach plugs are different.

I think the 2000 had a solitary electrical system. Different from the 98-99, and different again from the 2001,02.

I'm pretty sure the stators are all the same 2000-2002. The cdi plugs are different I know that.

So can I use an 04 viper harness with an 02 srx cdi and still have dcs work and everything else?

Or maybe buy two used 01 or 02 viper harnesses and make one 02 srx harness

I bought a 2001 harness so I'll just try to build it to work with dcs

I figured it out. I made a 2002 srx harness out of a 2001. Finished the wiring today and the dcs works
