Hey,guys I was wondering if there is any specific brand of pipes or silencer that does not decrease your horse power on a 02 sx viper thank you for your time and help.
I have an MBRP. Lots of weight savings and do not notice any loss in hp. Sounds mean.
all aftermarket triple pipes add power to a viper, some are 25-30hp gain, others lower. As for silencers the story is not the same, some aftermarket silencers lose power, the silencers are more of a noise change either gain or loss depending on how loud you want the sled to be. Bender made the only single aftermakrket pipe for the viper which did gain a few hp over stock.

I did have a Srx with the bender silencer and it sounded mean as well as the performance of the sled.
