I am the original owner of a 2002 viper with about 8000 miles on it and it runs great. It has been great sled but has issues compared to today's sleds as we all know from a ride and comfort perspective. I do also own a 2014 viper which is an awesome sled. For sentimental reasons I would like modify the 2002 sled to be more useful for me and my family. I am looking at adding electric start and reverse, extend the tunnel with a new suspension system for a better ride Back in the day I think FAST M-10 was a hot set up... not sure if that still stands. I also would like to add a removable heated 2 up for my kids to tag along which could be a seat jack or possibly a venture seat. I know from a financial stand point this is NOT worth it but I would like to keep the sled in the family. One big issue is that I don't have the time or tools to make this project happen. Is anyone interested in taking on a project like this?
