Is there such a thing as a big wheel kit for the SRX's? I have read you can use Polaris wheels to give you the same affect. Just need to know what wheels for the mid and rear suspension. Can they be from a newer Polaris or should it be the older models?

The Polaris wheels are larger in circumference and have been a popular upgrade to many Yamaha skids, but as to the year(s) of sleds to source them from I'm not certain.Look for wheels with a diameter larger than 4 1/8" ( I think),the stock Yamaha size.

Back wheels for 79 srx work for larger diameter to go with the polaris idler wheels with a little cutting of the spacer in the back.

the wheel size for the skid is the 5.35" of Polaris wheels. The ones for the rear axle are from a late 70's exciter or srx440, they are 7.50" diameter. if you use them on the 2000 and newer youll need to trim a 1/8" off all the rear axle spacers.
