Anybody know the diff. between viper and srx oem. pistons besides the pricing? (viper pistons about 30$ sheaper) Also the small end bearing seems to be different? (diff. part.nr.) Tried a search with no luck!

they will interchange. yes will work despite part # difference. 3:16x (yammie tony)
the srx piston is coated on ringlands and edges, the viper is not coated from factory. They both use the same dimension upper wristpin bearing and will interchange. The rings and circlips are the same for both as well.

What does the coating do? Is it worth to put the srx pistons in a viper?
