Looking for info on making changes to my 93 Phazer 2 Butterfly carbs so I can run my Aaen pipe.
Any help appreciated!
I haven't had any luck finding the parts required so I will either mod the carbs or try another set of carbs...
cheers mike

These guys have a bunch of the primary nozzles, my local dealer pointed me in their direction last month when I was in buying jets for the same Aaen project.

I haven't installed them yet, just used the phazer carb bulletin off of this site to get the part numbers and instructions. They charged me about $20 a piece and about $5 to ship them.

Honestly no need for the nozzles ............Aaen pipe 110 pilot fuel screw at 1.5 turns 148.8 mains 0-3000 seal level setting good to minus 10 stock engine with or without reeds

But doesn't it help more with part throttle lean conditions as well? Or does the different pilot jet take care of that?

no matter what you do there will be a lean spot from about 1/3 to half throttle ... as long as you do not hold the throttle in those position too long you will should not have a problem so not cruising with out moving throttle position ... you can pop the welch plug behind the fuel screw and drill the air passed (i have the specs for doing this) which will help improve the mid range lean a little ........I have personally never used the nozzels in any of the sleds i have set up but i have installed plenty of them over the years for customers and i can say that it did not prevent burn downs .... our group has 12 phazers most piped, jetted and clutched with my setups and yet to have one burn down ....we have only lost one engine due to oil pump failing and it took out a rod ..............
I would be more concerned about crank seals with a sled of this age as it most likely needs them

Thank you for that information! The bloody nozzle issue was driving me to drink!!! Lol.
Might consider drilling the air passage if not too difficult, as I will be using this sled poking around in the trees and side hilling.
I sent you a PM regarding set up's, so if you had some time I'd really appreciate your opinion and suggestion....
Cheers
