I'm cleaning the valves in my 1998 srx 600. I noticed that a different style cap with 2 o-rings is used on 1 of the assemblies. I asume it's the newer style cable? The other 2 only have 1 o-ring. 1 of the valves is worn on an angle at the top where the wire connects. Is this still usable? Also if you look at the servo motor there is 1,2,3 for the cables. What cable goes to each cylinder? 1,2,3 to me should be mag, center, pto but the cables were not like that. I had to slightly turn the servo motor to get the cables off. If I simply send 12v to the connector with 2 red wires and a black at the test plug will the servo motor goto the starting point? Then with valves hooked up run the motor down to 900 rpm or lower so it dies with the idle screw and adjust 2.5mm at the cap for free play? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. All 3 cables are different lengths. Any answers to the other questions about setting the servo motor to the start point for initial adjustment would be great. Also is this valve usable? Thanks.

no 1 cyl. is pto, no 2 is center, no 3 is mag. Also make sure the cables are in the right slot on wheel of the servo. pto is on the inside, center is on the outside & mag is center. the center cable is more wrapped around the wheel than the others. I would use the power valve again because there expensive. Just idle down the motor until valve open, mark the wheel & housing, then set valves

its still useable if the groove inside is not eaten out. you can just use a file to straighten it out on tip and slightly bevel the edge.
