I just picked up a 2002 Viper project sled that is blown up...The owner bought it that way and has no idea how many miles were on it...my question is...can I hook the speedometer up to a power source to light it up to check the mileage? and if its possible what wires do I need to hook up...Thanks for any help

Yes, you need to unplug the hood harness and find the Blue/White wire running up the hood, put positive to that and ground to frame on sled. That should light it up. Make sure the other plugs are connected as the ground runs through those.
