got a mod 700 sx around 150 hp...i am running 89ls with 4.5 with a dalton green black spring and trying to keep my rpms at 8800...this bugger hits 9300 off the bat and then goes to 8300 then to 9500....have a 51/47 helix with a silver spring at 60...whats happening here.....its on a track dyno and i only change 1 thing at a time...its hits 72 hp to the track then drops big time...help buddy help...thanks

tried that went to a 48/36 then to a 52/40...still losing hp and rpm...like i said holeshot is 9300 then drop to 8000 then top end hits 9500

add more weight to the tip to bring the rpm's down to 8800 at the start and finish and you may have to take weight out of the middle till your rpms come up to 8800 in the mid .you will nead to tune the primary to the helix and not the other way around
89ls only have one tuning rivit hole

Too much primary spring & too much secondary spring. Run the stock primary spring, green secondary at 60 & then play from there.
