Any options at all?
Pink skins are pretty thin. Not sure how thick they are supposed to be. The aluminum is mint!
Don't want to destroy these beautiful skis.
Don't mind doing something different if I have an option.
We have a 93 exciter SX and it has the same shocks up front. Not sure if what the skis mount to is the same on both sleds though.
Thanks in advance guys!

I think sno stuf still makes them. Otherwise any newer aluminum saddle ski can be made to fit and is a great upgrade. http://www.mfgsupply.com/snowmobile/snowskisacc/skiskins/yamskiskins.html. Also try these guys.

By a newer aluminum saddle ski being made to fit what are you referring to? I looked up the skins mentioned above in the thread and don't see anything specific to a 92. I see 94+ stuff. I thought all the skis and suspension etc was the same on the vmax 4's? Guess not?

Any rx-1, viper ski with aluminum saddle. Then in the ty tech section is a how to to make them fit.http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/aaTECH/ausertech/Dave_vmaxSkisrx1.htm. This will also work on your 92 just need a few more washers for spacers.
