I have a 96 Phazer ii that loads up and won't Rev over 2500 ( wicked rich )
If I take the air boots off, it runs perfect.
Took the air box out and checked for blockage (all good)
Took carbs off to check jets and they are 143.8 Main and 90 pilot
Any thoughts ?

Ok there are a total of 4 rubber plugs, 2 per carb when you have the float bowls off there are 3 holes in the bottom of the carb the plugs should cover the pilot jet hole and the other cover the center hole .....if not installed correctly or if they are rock hard and loose the sled will idle ok but after that it will run pig rich

I followed the manual and installed the rubber plugs incorrectly.
Swapped them like NUTZ says and it Runs mint now....
