Hey everyone I need some guidance on setting up my clutches. Sled is a 98 srxm with heel clicker
Ekholm d/r tunnel
Cat proclimb skid
144 back country track
20/40 gearing
Lightweight wide front end with fox floats
Stock engine except for carbon reeds
Dynoport can (my ears ring just thinking about it)
Boss seat
Etc....

Anyway I ride 50/50 tight twisty trail and unplowed fire roads open fields and such and I need some baseline settings for the heel clickers and an idea of what to get for a helix.I'm obviously not looking for huge top end speed 90mph would be just fine when I need to. The sled is 60lbs lighter then stock and I weigh 225 to 230 with gear. Thanks in advance

with those gears top speed definitely wont be an issue, that's pretty steep if your not in the deep stuff climbing, you might want to bump up the top gear a tooth or so. You will also pull a lot of clutch weight geared down that low. 4-5 grams heel weight, nothing in center hole and 6.3 grams tip, red spring, 50/44 helix with green dot Yamaha sec spring at 60-70. For that year srx your looking for 8300-8400rpm on top, like to see it go to 8000-8100rpm out of the gate and slowly climb up to 83/8400rpm after about 350-450ft out.
