Found a cherry mint 97 SX700 with only 1500k and stored in shed for last 12 years. went thru motor, drained all oils and gas with new rebuilt shocks and suspension. Cleaned clutches and test run was getting spider webs out. Now she is running great but the infamous squeaking of the clutch is happening with sled lurching at idle, put new factory belt on and same. Any luck with after market belts or do I need to add shims?
Any recommendations on silencers?
Thanks for the input!

Removing those three adjustment shims from the stopper bolts on the back of the secondary clutch . Usually cures it the idle squealing and grab by opening the secondary a bit

If removing the shims doesn't help, you may need to replace those 3 bolts because the tips wear down over time, if they're worn they don't open up the secondary enough.
