just changed my track out and im putting back together . putting the secondary clutch on and i noticed on parts diagram there are 3 washers. number 28 on parts diagram. i did not have them when i took it off. do i need them? i noticed on the sxr they do not use them on the diagram. the 3 washers look like they go between clutch and bearing on the jack shaft. do they space the clutch out? i tightened clutch on but seems like a quarter in of play on the clutch moving back and forth and i dont want to over tighten bolt that holds clutch on. ty for your time and help

There should be play in the clutch. Those washers are used to adjust the secondary clutch offset.

You'll need to measure your offset to know if you need them.

Where is your belt sitting in the secondary? New belt? Squealing?

how do i measure the offset? sorry probally a dumb question . sled has 1200 miles on it so it is as almost like is rolled off assembly line . so i guess my question is . were those washers stock when it was built? if so im just gonna order and put them on. i just dont recall taking them off. and when you tighten the bolt that holds the clutch to the jack shaft how far should i turn it on?
