Installed a new set of slides then smoked them in 300 miles. I know the
Track was probably to tight. Can anyone give me some pointers on track tension for stock track with 144 studs. I guess I was affraid that the track would come off the back

i like to tighten it enough until there's about a one inch gab between the bottom of the slider and the track when im pulling down slightly on the center of the track..... then i loosen it off a touch....ive also known some guys who prefer it less tight and loosen the track off until it starts to rachet on the cogs and then tighten up a touch from ther....

Loosen until it ratchets then tighten up a little at a time until it stops. each sled and track will be a little different.
