I have a 98 SRX that I will be doing some Ice Lemans races with this winter here in WI. Mr. Sled and I have been going through the sled to make sure she will be running top notch before the races. Thankfully he is a wealth of knowledge with my ol sled. I have a 90 degree hooked handle bar on the break side so I can really get low in the corners. But now I am struggling to find an extended break lever or a lever that is extended out with a 90 degree bend. Do any of you guys have anything I can purchase?
I tried welding an aluminum extension onto the stock lever and then making the 90 degree angle and clearly the stock lever is not aluminum because it did not work out to well. I cut it apart and I even used a broken dirt bike clutch lever to try to weld to the stock lever and that was not working out to well either. Any thoughts? Any one have one I can just bolt on a go?
