Probably been covered but thought I would share my experiences.
I bought two 02 vipers and tors on both sleds bypassed at carb switch harness when I got them. Connected tors back up and sure enough experienced intermittent issues . Read the thread on cleaning switch thought I would try that. Removed switches and disassembled , neither was overly dirty/corroded inside but testing with meter showed intermittent contact especially when wiggling harness at switch end. removed contact itself from switch end and noticed wire crimps were not tight. re crimped terminals on both switches and re installed . Since then no more tors problems. Since this situation was the same on both my sleds I would assume it to be a common issue.

I haven't noticed loose terminals on mine but both mine had the tors disconnected when I got them. One I had to clean the switch and the other I just hooked it back up and it is fine. Nice to see quite a few people fixing it. You can't even tell its there when working properly. Nice job.

good catch on it, if you think about how the wires stick out the front and how many times the carbs have been taken off to clean the jets, probally easy to damage or loosen the wire harness there. Good post!
