On my 97 i was using a clutch setup recommended by turk. After the clutch failed on me im getting the new one setup the same but its a clutch with the deeper outer cover that i believe uses a different spring? There used to be a really nice clutch weight and spring rate/length chart on pioneers site but it looks like the whole site is gone.
Can somebody tell me the equivalent spring as a stock 97 sx 700 or link me to a nice chart?

Not sure but could you use your short cap on the new clutch to keep the same spring? Or does it matter for how the spider works as well?

Old clutch is in a few hundred pieces on the side of a pond unfortunately.
