So I finished up the srx. New 1.22" track, 'cleaned the carbs(new o-rings)stock jetting except 1-7/8 out on fuel screws, front works shocks rebuilt, m10 shocks rebuilt. 1) track is rubbing on the tunnel protectors, Do I trim the track, trim the tunnel protectors or do nothing? 2) I still have the idle hang, is there anything I can do to eliminate it? If I blip the choke it idles right down. 3) If I lift on the front bumper, there is about 3" of sag, is this excessive or normal? The shocks have dual springs. The top one is small and compresses easily. The front just seems too soft compared to the skid.

1.) you can trim the track just in the area where it hits the protectors if its a lot, if just minor rubbing it will wear in. A sharp razor knife cuts them like butter.
2.) install 42.5 pilot jets
3.) sounds like the springs might be sacked on front shocks unless the adjuster nuts need to put more pressure on them. snap a pic of the front shocks so we can see whats goin on there. Do you know the last time the oil and nitrogen was redone on them?

I put a hacksaw 1" track on 2-3 years ago. It only rubs for a little bit then go to go.

or... the spring rate is not correct for the weight on the front. looks like it has a bunch of aftermarket front end items on it. maybe you can get a number off the springs and call the shock manufacture and see if correct spring rate for a srx.
