I have just bought the sled, today was first good ride on it. It's a 2000 sxr 700. I think the front shocks are KYB? Left side is leaking right is ok but maybe it's already empty? Both sides hit hard and bottom out while riding. My question is the kyb rebuildable or do I just go get new?

Check the rods for pitting. I had some rebuilt a few years ago and the rods had to be replaced.

I had this guy do 2 sets of KYB's for me now, he does good work, fast turn around time, a week or less, and he charged me $25 per shock

I plan to stop in at snowline in the morning and pick up a new/spare set. Then I will look at rebuilding the set I have, see how bad they are and move on from there. I am close to Stratford.

Getting them redone at xtreme toys. That's where I was recommended by snowline to take them. Will be about $200 for both, $65 to do and $35 for each seal, taxes and whatever else.
Next will be in search of a new skid and track for next year.
