Its getting to be too much to keep both running and now only need 1 sled. I blew the exhaust side piston in my 2000 SRX and gauged the cylinder pretty bad and my 2004 Viper S has a blown exhaust manifold. My question is...are these two machines close enough brothers that I can put the triple pipes from the SRX into my Viper? In doing this could I also use the SRX carbs as they would be jetted for the triple pipes? Or would I be better off using the jets from the SRX carbs in the Viper carbs?
I know this isn't really the way to go about this or if it is even possible but I know I have come to the right place and am reaching out to the right people.

the triple pipes wont fit on the viper because of the exhaust uses a different bolt pattern, and shape of the exhaust port, the cylinders are different lengths on the exhaust. If you were a good fab person you can make an adaptor to change that but you also have to change out the cdi box, and cut the bellypan, and shim the hood hinge, etc to use srx exhaust on a viper, so basicly the answer is no.
The carb racks are the same size and type but the srx carb rack has richer brass parts in it then the srx uses, the needles, nozzles and slide cutaways are different between the 2 sleds.
likely it would be the easiest to just source a good manifold or have yours welded, its a common item(manifold cracks) that goes bad on a viper. sounds like the viper is the least cost and amount of work to get going again. I doubt youll have much trouble in finding someone to buy the srx off you if you want to downsize, thay have a pretty good following, running or not someone will want it.

Well so much foe my idea...Thanks for the info and now off to the welder to see if they can be patched to make it through to finding a used manifold. I have found a couple but they seem to be more plentiful in the USA and by the time I do the $ exchange and shipping to Canada I'm only $100 from buying a new one from Yamaha.
Any Canadians out there with an exhaust manifold for a Viper????
