I need to pull the center cylinder on my mm700. The base gasket was replaced recently and has only 4 or 5 rides on it. Is it possible to pull the center cylinder and replace it without pulling all three and replacing the base gasket?
yes, if its a stock Yamaha metal base gasket it will be no problem, just pull the head and remove the cylinder.

It's generally recommended to use gasket tack when reusing gaskets.
