I just reached 7000 miles on my 2004 sx viper. I decided to refresh the suspension with the same proaction factory setup. My question is, my factory skid shocks still appear to have a charge, should I get them rebuilt, or can they even be rebuilt? Same question for my front factory KYB shocks.
If anyone has a replacement suggestion for other than factory I would love to hear about that add well. Thanks.

As long as they are the aluminum body KYB Shocks they are rebuild-able. I would definitely get them refreshed. The oil will be dirty and have black gunk in it from usage. Likely run you $45 or less per shock plus any parts if needed.

I have this guy do my shocks, just did a set for me this week, $25 each. Turn around time is quick, sent them in on tuesday and I'll have them back tomorrow.https://www.facebook.com/EricTheShockGuy/info

If they are OEM 2004 viper shocks they were not rebuild able. Find yourself a cheap set of used kyb here and have them rebuilt and valved for your weight and style
