Just want to know where all you guys out there generally speaking set your rods at,i have maxxperf quickrods(old style) set at 3 on a sx 700 if i crank them up will it dangle the skis when i hammer the throttle

Red -

I would say 3 is pretty aggresive. Going to far with those adjustments can cause other issues (poor cornering due to picking up the inside ski 1 ex.), and this causes the rear suspension to get VERY soft, and in big bump condtions it will be an issue. I know maxx say to run at 4 on that machine, but like anything -play with it, and adjust for condtions. Lastly - if you go to far you can brake "stuff', and then your hook up really sucks...
I would add a camo predator track (1") this will give you the hook up, and you will not loose the things mentioned above. Not to mention the 1" is like 7lbs less than you r factory3/4"---less rotational mass is a very good thing!!(dgeorge sells them very reasonable--350 ish)
PS - we dont have enough snow to ride that thing anyway...

where do you live bleuej17

cherrycreek has alot of snow and i have a predator 8.8 lug track it works well on no. 3 setting
