I have a 2004 venture 700, it has almost 12000 km. I am looking to beef up the back suspension. I recently started to bottom more often when I am riding alone. Just looking for some helpful advice on the route I should be taking. Thank for your help in Advance

Your shocks are likely in need of a rebuild and are not damping properly. Some of them are rebuildable and others are not. I'm not familiar with the venture to know what model you would have.
New or rebuilt shocks can ride pretty good in a stock skid that is properly adjusted, or for a better ride swap almost any other newer skid in instead of the stocker. My Cat skid with Float suspension surely rides nice for what I do.
