I recently broke the cord on my recoil for sled i tried to put a new cord in and took the whole thing apart without realizing that wasnt necessary. Now my recoil is real short, is there anyway to fix it?

Did you use a shorter rope? If I remember the
rope should be about 5-6' long.
rope should be about 5-6' long.

Any good small engine repair will rewind that with new rope for $15. I hate recoils.

Vicegrips are helpful when re-spooling any recoil.

Wind it up really good and clamp it in place so it doesn't spool. Then thread new in and knot.

I used this Youtube video to rewind mine. Pretty simple.
