Hey I have a 2000 venture and had my end come off my old grip. I ordered apex style grip heaters with new grips. I put some 45 bar ends on and then the grips. Everything looks good but I am getting very little heat out of the grips. Thumb warmer is smoking hot. I have a bigger bulb in the headlight led tail light and am not using the passenger grips anymore. The old grips were hot.

The old venture grips and apex grips dont ohm out the same. This is why the apex grips are colder then your venture grips were. I dont remember the numbers off memory but there is quite a difference. To make them work wire them in parallel instead of in a series. So take one wire from each grip and wire into one wire from sled. Then the other two wires from grips to other wire on sled.
