redhead crank seals

I picked up a bone stock 01 mm700 with 1100 original miles on it and am wondering if I should be thinking about changing the crank seals. Not due from wear or miles but more so from age. Do they dry out and crack over time?
 
They hold up well, I personally wouldn't be that worried about it. With it running spray some carb clean behind the clutch and see if how the engine runs changes.

Cool and good to know. I did clean the carbs right off the bat and It runs perfect. I wont worry about the seals and am just gonna run it. Thanks for the reply.
