Hi Guys! I hope you are all having a safe and fun Snowmobile Season.
I got the OEM shock off of Ebay. It is the 8AB-47481-00, .290 spring dia, 9 wraps. The one off the DX is the 8BR-47481-00, .330 spring dia, 10 wraps. I saw how they were identified on the micro film pages. My question is are the shock setups for the regular single rider VMAX's and the 2up DX exclusive or was it supposed to be a mix and match depending on weight and riding style? Then does the service manual have any data or charts on this as to what shock and spring combo for certain weights and riding conditions? (if a manual does have this data pleas educate me as to which one it is so I may get a copy myself). And finally is there any difference between the shocks themselves, gas charge and dampening/valving?
